C0 Smart Minicomputer Board Features:
Built-in Interrupt Controller: The C0 core includes a built-in interrupt controller, which helps reduce the system's area.
Bus Support: C0 supports AHB-lite/AHB bus.
JTAG Debugging Support: C0 supports JTAG debugging functionality.
Comparison with C300: Compared to C300, C0 has a 3-stage pipeline, while C300 has a 4-stage pipeline. C0 has only a PSR control register, while C300 has 12. C0 lacks shadow registers, while C300 has 16 (optional). The gate count for C0 is between 12K~20K, while for C300 it is between 40K~70K. C0's DMIPS/MHz is 0.91, while C300's is 1.1. The maximum frequency for C0 at 180G process is 66MHz, while C300 can reach 120MHz.
Comparison with Cortex-M0: Compared to Cortex-M0, both have a 3-stage pipeline. C0 has 16 general-purpose registers, while Cortex-M0 has 15. Both have built-in interrupt controllers. C0's DMIPS is 0.84, while Cortex-M0's is 0.87. The maximum frequency for C0 is 66MHz, while Cortex-M0 is 50MHz. C0's power consumption is less than 55uW/MHz, while Cortex-M0's is 78uW/MHz. The gate count for C0 is between 12K~20K, while for Cortex-M0 it is 12K (minimum).
Security Feature Scalability: C0 supports MPU (+4K~8K) address/data bus encryption scrambling (+0.7K).
C0+ Processor: The C0+ processor enhances bit and IO operation instructions based on C0, while further simplifying C0, with a scale of 8K, achieving the same scale as an 8-bit CPU.
