What are the Types of Butt Weld Elbow?
Welding elbows are mainly distinguished based on the bending angle
and bending radius. The most commonly used angles are 90 degrees
and 45 degrees, used to achieve pipeline turning. The radius is
divided into long radius (LR) and short radius (SR). The bending
radius of a long radius elbow is 1.5 times the diameter of the
pipe, with low fluid resistance, and is the default standard
selection; The radius of a short radius elbow is equal to the pipe
diameter and is usually used in situations where installation space

Material Properties of WP317L
WP317L is a reinforced austenitic stainless steel made of 316L. Its
key advantage lies in its higher molybdenum (Mo) content (usually
greater than 3%), which makes it significantly superior to 316L in
terms of resistance to overall corrosion, especially pitting and
crevice corrosion in chloride environments. This characteristic
makes WP317L an ideal choice in more corrosive and harsh
environments, providing longer service life and higher safety
guarantees for critical equipment.
