Product Overview

Search and rescue radar transponder (SART) is the positioner of global maritime distress and safety system (GMDSS). Performance indicators of the product meet relevant international standards. It possesses independent intellectual property right and has obtained the model approval from China Classification Society (CCS) (certificate number: CQ08T00015).

Function and Purpose

- It is capable of detecting the pulse action through the navigation radar installed on a search and rescue vessel or a helicopter. The signal from SART can indicate exact position of the SART on the fluorescent screen of navigation radar of the search and rescue vessel of the helicopter.

- The survivor who holds a SART or a ship or boat in distress where a SART is equipped can discover the search and rescue vessel or helicopter that is approaching them.
