1. Introduction of cable bending test apparatus

Cord bending test apparatus is designed according to IEC62196-1 clause 26.4 figure 20 and table 14, it is applied to do mechanical load flexing test of the non-rewirable accessories of ev plug and vehicle connector.


Test method:

The sample is fixed to the oscillating member of the apparatus so that at the middle of travel, the cable is loaded with a weight, and a current equal to the rated current of the accessory is passed through the conductors, the voltage between them being the rated voltage, the oscillating member is moved backwards and forwards through an angle of 90° (45° on either side of the vertical), the number of flexings being 20000 and the rate of flexing 60 per minute. After the test, the samples shall show no damage within the meaning of this document.


Structure:

The equipment adopts floor-stand structure and controlled by PLC and touch screen. The speed, test times and angle can be preset, and it’s built-in load. Equip with 4 casters to make the machine moves easily.
